Temporarily On Hiatus: Surviving Super Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyang)

I have to beg indulgence from my readers and followers. This blog is temporarily on hiatus. The reason is that we had to go through a horrific Super Typhoon Yolanda or Haiyang. Where I am at, Sagay City, Negros Occidental, was one of those worst hit by this wrath of nature. We were fortunate though, our little city is further inland and whatever coastal villages were evacuated before the storm. Some of the smaller islands were hard hit and were leveled but deaths were, thankfully, at the minimal levels.

If you are wondering how I am blogging despite all, I am currently sitting in a hospital where my hubby is doing his rounds. Just today, the generator was fixed after a tree fell on its shelter roof. Someone brought along a portable wifi and I am now piggy backing on it.

We don't exactly know when full connectivity with the networks are going to be. As of today, we still do not have any electricity since the storm hit on Friday. We had no water for three days but just got the connection today. That is all I want, water. Without electricity, we have some minor inconveniences, internet connection being one of them and CNN the other, but otherwise, we survived and that is the most important thing.

Those posts published before this had been previously scheduled way before the storm had even been spotted.

I hope to get full connectivity soon, well, as soon as can be. The local power company says full electricity will be done by December 20. Yes, that long. This is to be expected as all phone lines and electric posts were either snapped, flown off their hooks, or simply trees fell over them. As the connection is quite weak, I cannot post pictures, but I promise to do so as soon as I could.

Again, thank you for understanding and I hope multitaskingmomma will be back sooner than the scheduled December connection. Love you all!
