Cassie Graham is first and foremost, a wife and mother. She has one crazy daughter and a just as nutters husband that she loves dearly. She lives in sunny--all be it, scorching Arizona, where the summers are ridiculously hot and the winters are perfection. She'd pick winter any day.
Cassie went to school to be a teacher, but quit to become a proud military wife in 2010. During that time, she found her passion to write. Being a loud and proud choirgirl in school, she needed another creative outlet and writing seemed like the perfect fit.
If Cassie isn't writing, she's more than likely cooking for her family or has her nose buried deep in a book. She finds inspiration in all things. Movies, music, and life fuel her characters’ lives, and she wouldn't have it any other way.

Can Ann open her heart and let Duane in?
Unable to Resist is a story about love, loss and finding healing in unlikely places.
From the very start, Cassie Graham grabs at your interest in Unable to Resist. It's so very refreshing to read a true, romantic novel where the hero and heroine don't jump in bed with each other five minutes into the first chapter. You could cut the tension on these pages!
Ann is a beautiful and sad woman who was hurt so many times in the past, she's cordoned herself off to the rest of the world. Apart from her best friend, no one knows what happened to her and she's happy to keep it that way. Cocooned in her work, she simply goes about the motions of living life. Until she bumps into Duane.
Can there ever be a more perfect cowboy and gentleman? Duane really sounds delicious and there's that something about him that people just can't get enough of. He's been through traumatic events too, but was forced to man up and become head of his household and business way ahead of his time. It doesn't damage him, though. It just makes him into a person who is so much better. No other person could have helped Ann back into her life.
That instantaneous attraction fades into nothing while they chase bad guys and solve several mysteries together. That closeness allows Ann to unburden herself from the secrets she's been keeping for so long, which in turn lets Duane heal little hurts he hadn't realized he still had. What better foundation to fall in love on?
It's a quick book to read - with a word of warning. It took me so long to write this review because I read the whole thing again right after I was done. It's one that you'll never want to let go.
There are some events that are resolved a little more quickly than expected, but they're very well explained so it fits into the story quite nicely. Nothing requires a suspension of disbelief; except Duane. He is such a MAN that he could spoil a reader for those out in real life. He's not perfect: he's dorky at times, a klutz at others, and has a level of snark. But the way he treats Ann and his family makes up for all that!
This ARC of Unable to Resist is going into my personal library and I doubt it's ever going to be deleted. Cassie Graham hit it with this one. Love it.
He pulls my hand to his chest, just above his heart, and I feel the strong, steady beat. “My heart only knows one thing for sure.”
I look at our hands, a smile playing on my lips. “And, what’s that?”
He puts a finger under my chin and brings my face up to meet his eyes. “That I want you to be mine. I don’t want to share, Red.”
He looks intently at my face for a moment without wavering, confirming the intensity in the room. “I need to hear you say it,” he breathes out, finally.
I suddenly feel incredibly wanted and my confidence level boosts to an all-time high.
“I,” my lips kiss his chest, “am,” I lightly lick his neck, “yours.”
Duane let’s out an animalistic growl and flips me onto my back, thoroughly ending our conversation with hungry kisses.
