My goal is to write stories with a heart of romance, a troubled road to reach happiness, and most importantly, that hint of a happily ever after.
I've has been writing since age six, when I was made to stay in at lunchtime for an infraction involving cookies and the mixing bowl. You can't tell a six year old not to lick the bowl!
I was told to write a story and two sides of paper about a trapped princess later, a lover of writing was born.
As an avid reader myself, I can be found reading anything from thrillers to sci-fi to horror. However, my first real true love will always be the world of romance. I love my cowboys, bodyguards, firemen and billionaires (to name a few) and love to write dramatic and romantic stories of love and passion between these men. (Yum)
With over 60 titles to my name and counting, I am the author of the award winning book, The Christmas Throwaway, which was All Romance Ebooks best selling title of 2010.
I'm also known for the Texas series charting the lives of Riley and Jack, and the Sanctuary series following the work of the Sanctuary Foundation and the people it protects.
I'm always so thrilled to hear from readers, bloggers and other writers.

Welcome to of my mini author tour, thank you to Multitasking Mommas for having me… J
When I was at the UK meet I was told by readers on more than one occasion that they thought I just wrote paranormal, or I just wrote contemporary. Of that they knew about Texas, but had never heard of the Sanctuary series. So I came up with this idea… highlight two very different books, or series, and add in some cool prizes and maybe readers might find something new from me.
Today I thought I would focus on two books that on the surface are somewhat alike. Both are contemporary romances, but are different in so many ways. The first is Back Home, the second is Moments.
Moments is the story of a Hollywood B-lister bad-boy who is on his final chance. Take the chance of working in an inner city education place, or spend time in prison. When his dad pulls strings Jacob ends up working for Ethan Myers. With a hate/hate relationship things are never going to go well, except when sparks of attraction fly and a relationship grows against the background of street gangs, arson, the Oscars and despite their own prejudices. I love Jacob Riley. He is one of the coolest most flawed characters I have ever written, and is loosely based on Robert Downey Jr and that photo where he is in the dock in his orange prison suit. I wanted to write a story of second chances and this is it.
Back Home is also a story of second chances, but in a very different way. Kieran, in his teens, falls in love with his brother Brad’s boyfriend, and he runs away to another country to bury himself in a career so he can forget. When Brad dies and things start to go wrong Kieran returns home and realises he never stopped loving Jordan. If only they can get past misunderstandings and the worries of a bank foreclosing on the family business, then everything may work out. Possibly.
Both books focus on second chances, family, love and above all hope.
