Just when Rhett reaches the end of his patience, a single phone call shatters his world. His beloved grandfather’s plane disappeared. No tracking. No landing. No crash site.
Rhett now must unravel the lies in place to protect him so he can help his family. And not even the risk to his own life will stop him.

My Rating: 4 of 5 Stars
Liz Borino has managed to make a simple story go on and on and unfortunately, or fortunately, I am hooked.
After the second book, where we found Kaden injured and Rhett nearly tearing his hair off from frustration and fear, we find them together once more, in bed (where else?). Unfortunately, Kaden is suffering, physically and mentally. His dreams are destructive and Rhett is learning not to baby his husband. When all things seem normal, other than their intense boredom from lack of activity, things begin not to add up.
Here we meet a new member of their family, Daisy, a beautiful shepherd who seems to know how to read human minds. We get to see Lassie, too sassy a cat to ignore. And then we get to look for Pop who seems to have disappeared. When Rhett begins to fret, the answers he gets is: nothing.
Another mystery, another thriller, we seem to catch Rhett and Kaden at the most importunate times. We hunt with them, worry with them, and then wonder, where will it all head to? Then the ending comes and I got to think: oh no, when is the next one going to be released?
That was the worst cliff hanger of all times! I mean, really, it left me in the middle and I had to make sure nothing was left in the book to face the truth: book #4 is coming. ugh!
As we say: to be continued folks!!!
