The Caterpillar Report: After the Fall I Fly

By now most of you dear readers know I Fell :(  two days ago. Someone sent me an email asking how I was and thank you so much for the expressed concern. I am better, that is the good news. Unfortunately, the good always comes with some bad.

The bad: I Am Flying.

Yes, you read it right. I am flying from the effects of my pain medications which I have decided is doing me more harm than good. I can't think straight, I can't walk straight, I can't function at all. I am just high. Period. I am flying from my anti-vertigo which dosage has been increased to 75 mg temporarily for five days. I have been taking the combination since the fall and oh. my. goodness.

The worst: I can't read.

I wake up and I try to read, nothing happens. It's like my imagination slipped along with my decorum and I am hopeless without it. How am I supposed to while the time away in bed? I have my tablet filled with books but I can't read.

Words words everywhere but not a sentence to understand.

It is now 7:32 pm and it is just now I can write this post. I took my meds the night before and I was knocked out. I woke up earlier to answer two emails and then nothing.

You know what's the best part? Daughter made chicken soup with asparagus and hubby had pizza delivered. It was a good meal made better with Nestle's Italian Coffee Affogato ice cream.

I am sated. I am writing. Well, at least a blog post. I am ready to take the next round of meds. I guess I'll see you when I wake up?
