Review: The Library: An Opposites Novella by T.M. Smith

The Library an Opposites Novella
by T.M. Smith
Published November 30th 2013
Genre: MM, MF, FF

My Rating: 4 of 5 Stars

Three gay couples run amuck in this short story where clothing, beds, even four walls are all optional!

Want to know what happened that night in the library?

Cirian and Rian had a fight in the library and Rian ends up naked on the desk, on his back, at Cirian's mercy.

Want to know how far things went with ice cream?

A romantic evening by the fire feeding his husband ice cream leads to a lot more than heavy petting for Aiyan and Kaden.

Want to know what was going on when those birds fled?

Travelling hundreds of miles, battling the rebels and then travelling back to House Gaeland will take it out of you. But when Tanis wants something, he takes it. Raven is about to be bent over a tree!

A Note from the Author: I've taken three scenes from Opposites that were cut short and elaborated on the shenanigans that ensued. I also focused more in the beginning on the relationship between Cirian and Rian, to give readers a chance to know them and their inner workings better.

**Warning, The Library is a novella set in the same world as Opposites. It's an adult dystopian M/M novella that includes consenting and explicit sexual relationships between gay couples**

Oh my, this was HOT!

The Library focuses on three hot couples from Opposites: Cirian and Rian, fathers to Aiya and Aiyan; Aiyan and Kaden and finally, Tanis and Raven. When reading Opposites, it was a toss up for me between couples Aiyan and Kaden and Tanis and Raven. With this novella, I have no idea who I love the most!

Decisions, decisions.....

In any case, here we now find out how the two fathers met. How they had been raised together, fallen in love, then finally matched. They were a righ match these two and theirs was actually a very romantic story.

For Aiyan and Kaden, well, let's just say these two were HOT! in Opposites but we get more of them here.

Finally, we have Tanis and Raven. Theirs was almost on the verge of star crossed lovers but thankfully were not. Here we catch a glimpse of something secret in Tanis and reading the author's note at the end, we can confirm we are seeing more of these men and the lifestyle that is sure to be not only sexy as heck, but they were irresistible here.

I also have to point out, now that I am very familiar with this new world, this culture, these characters, this book read easier and I totally enjoyed myself.

If you enjoyed Opposites, you really have to read this book! This may be short and light, but should not be missed.
