Count Vladimir Dracul never suspected that the human he found hiding in his stables will change his life and the way he sees the world. But once he finds Béla, Vlad can’t give him up. Fighting prejudices against humans, a vampire Count wanting his blood donor back, and a threat from an old enemy seem like small battles compared to the one he has to fight to win Béla’s heart.
Béla was terrified of the vampire that found him and decided to keep him. His experience with vampires has never been good so he has no reason to trust Vlad, even if he wanted to. But when his former owner comes looking for him, Béla has to find the courage to save the one man that has come to mean more to him than his freedom.
With the help of a few crazy friends, a werewolf mob boss, and two insane brothers, Vlad and Béla just might have a chance at happiness…if the Ministry of Paranormal Affairs doesn’t get to them first.

When Pan Thyr is arrested for a crime he didn’t commit, he's determined to take down the man responsible for his torture. But being on the run makes it hard to prove his innocence. He is not only fighting to clear his name, but prove to Igorian that they are meant to be together.
Igorian refuses to give in to his desires where Pan is concerned. Although the man is a walking wet dream, Igorian had been taught that vampires don’t mate outside their race. It was a lesson drilled into him from rebirth.
When wanted posters go up and the two must run for their lives, Igorian learns that fighting against the attraction he feels for Pan is futile. Can the two clear their names and the misconceptions taught to Igorian, or will the Ministry of Paranormal Affairs doom them both to a death sentence before Igorian finds out what it means to purr for a panther shifter?

These days, I love to make reviews about books as a series rather than go over them one at a time. Not because it can be tedious, no, simply because I am such a curious individual and get frustrated when I cannot get the fix immediately once I find I like the first installment. One of the series recommendations to me by my friend Fadia is Phanta City, written by two lovable ladies Stormy Glenn and Lynn Hagen whom I have been reading since day one of my addiction to the MM genre.

In Phanta City, we have a dystopic world where Earth is now predominantly populated and rules by the paranormals rather than the humans. This happens after the veil was lifted and a war of supremacy resulted to decades war, millions of deaths, and the paranormals winning. This is just one of the cities on this dystopic Earth world and we see lots of familiar things as well as unfamiliar things.

In Beautiful Bela we have coven leader, the powerful Count Vladimir Dracul, falling for human Bela. Now mind you, this is the usual vampire-loves-human-mate plot we are all familiar with. Thing is, what made me look twice at this recommendation was actually the names of the two main characters involved! Vladimir Dracul a.k.a. Dracula falls in love with Bela (think: Bela Lugosi playing Dracula and you'll know why I am giggling). Now, this Bela, he is such an innocent but so fierce. Talk about wrapping an all powerful 700 year old vampire between his cute little pinky and we see this vamp just skipping through the tulips to please his Bela. Of course, there has to be some bit of drama and angst but thankfully, THANK YOU!!!! dear authors, none of these were overdone! Instead of the crying and whinging frustrations, I ended up giggling my way through.

As for Purr For Me, well, this is the immediate chapter that opens during Vlad and Bela's mating. So we have Igorian falling for Pan Thyr, a panther shifter. Pan Thyr as a name is not so ridiculous, but when I read the description of Igorian, I just about snorted. Think Igor the hunchbacked assistant or butler of the original count and you'll know why I laughed so hard. Add on the fact when his full name was revealed and I just lost it. Well, this guy is as flighty as can be, really a ridiculous individual but oh, so lovable. I actually loved him more than I did Bela, but that is a different story. Thing is, this guy, he just surprised the heck out of me when he went out and did his vampy thingy to rescue his lover-mate and defend him to the fullest of all of his abilities!

So here I am, (im)patiently waiting for that next chapter, erm installment, where Cass A. Nova is involved. Okay, so his name is also another play on names but he is probably the most adorable character I ever encountered in a long while! Especially when it came to his Skittles. Yes, they have Skittles in Phanta City and Cass is just a rainbow character I know I will love.

Looking forward to this series. And as Fadia mentioned, yes, this is a real keeper. Something that is light,
humorous and just plain entertaining!
