Review: Blind Love (Discover Yourself Set #4) by Laura Warby

Blind Love (Discover Yourself Set #4)
by Laura Warby

My Rating: 2 of 5 Stars

A short story describing the growing relationship between Owen and Nate, after they become roommates.
This is a novella of approximately 16,000 words.

Owen and Nate meet.
Owen and Nate decide to move in together.
Owen and Nate get tangled in the sheets.
All in one night.

As the blurb says, this is a novella, but curiously enough, it read like a short and light story of less pages than that indicated.

This is the story of Owen and Nate, they became roommates and lovers in a really, really fast manner. Is this insta-love, I am not sure, but it felt like it and I just wanted to stop for a minute and try to understand the motives behind their moving together.

This was strange in a good way but I really cannot pinpoint exactly where it turned good. As I rated, this was an okay read, it was light and very short. The story sort of morphed from one event to the next like reading through the book fast forward. It was also disturbing in a way because this is an HEA and yet I don't see why it is so. I would rather say the two are in a CEA moment here, but the complication at the end of their story stumped me and I had to settle for HFN, which is sad because of the complication.

Then again, it has entertainment factor that got me through a rough and temperature HOT! day for less than an hour read. So if you out there want something fast, light, and entertaining, this is definitely something to consider.
