My Rating: 4.5 of 5 Stars

I'm one who one-clicks a Nic Starr. Yes, I'm a huge fan. But! and here's a but she probably did not expect from this reviewer, Patrick's Savior may just be the one book that I am not an all-out fan of while I was reading the story. Why? Well, because I got irritated and a tad bit frustrated with both Patric and Simon. Patrick for being annoying, and Simon for his uber patience.  Now, after reading this, and going over the feels I went through while reading, I had to give this a great rating for it gave me exactly what I look for while reading. No, this is not cheesy, or over-dramatic to the point of ridiculousness. This book is about two men who are very true to life and do the real-life choices we make every single day. They are not extraordinary, and for sure their story is not what makes up fairy tales either.

I must admit, these men's qualities are very real, and truth is, I really liked reading this book because both men reminded me of two men I know. I wanted to just go up to Simon and say, look where you're going and pay attention! and to Patrick whom I want to desperately strangle lovingly.

  1. Thanks so much for taking the time to read and review. I'm glad you enjoyed it even though Patrick and Simon were frustrating at times. I wanted to shake the two of them too LOL
